The Gilbert Education Foundation supports Every Student, Every Day and YOUR time, talent and treasures make that happen. The Gilbert Community School District staff and students look forward to the educational enrichment opportunities funded by dollars raised at this event each school year. The following is a list of just a few of the exciting things funded for our schools because you support the Rock Hop:
- Middle School Clubs ($1,000)
- Project Based Learning Unit Materials ($7,500)
- Broadcasting Equipment ($5,000)
- Teacher Mini Grants ($14,500)
- Career Technical Education ($2,500)
Rock Hop funds are also used to support 21st Century Learning Opportunities, such as Career Technical Education (CTE) lab equipment, Project Based Learning (PBL) materials, laptops for all students 5th-12th grade, enhanced STEM programming and flexible seating in the classroom.
Without the funds raised at the Rock Hop our students would not have these opportunities.
